Requirement Report
Requirement Report: Describes what a product will be like when it's completed. Provides information about the need met by the product, its capabilities, its operating environment, user experiences, and properties.
Source of information is 'E-how': SOURCE
---
Emily and I (we still need the product's name -.-;;) are creating a website that will be filled with information about different multimedia and multimedia systems. We shall be exploring the positives and negatives for them in hopes that we will be able to educate individuals in the subject matter - thereby accomplishing the problem definition of creating something that would display information about multimedia, and multimedia systems (website, powerpoint presentation with hyperlinks, a wiki, etc.)
The website itself will have various pages dedicated to either a significant multimedia type, or the system themselves. We will be having a home page that will link to each page, and those pages to each other - thereby creating pretty much one big circle which would allow easy use and accessibility to whatever information is being searched for.
Operating system would be online within the school network, only to be accessed by those give permission, such as Mr Cavil and ourselves.
Users/participants should be able to navigate easily around the website, and if any problems would arise they would have to contact Emily or myself about it (we would probably provide mock email addresses or something like that).
---
COAST PD - COLLECTING, ORGANISING, ANALYSING, SHARING AND TRANSMITTING, PROCESSING, DISPLAYINGThe site (as well as the actual creating of the site) will be doing:
- Collecting: Data about multimedia and multimedia systems, the type of website that would attract users (design, level of language, etc.)
- Organising: Information would be organised into separate web pages, thereby grouping all information into categories which enables easier use and access for everyone (as well as making work load some what more but easier for us?)
- Analysisng: Deciding which information would be best used for the website, ensuring for understandability for everyone, as this project is directed towards high school students upwards
- Sharing and
Transmitting: Sharing of information to those who access the website. Sharing would also happen between the developers (i.e. Emily and myself) in regard to various aspects of the website - Displaying: Done through a monitor + and the website itself.
